About Us
Specialising in miniatures, accessories and toys inspired by the icons of Canberra and region.
We started Burley & Brave as part of our Suitcase Dollhouse business, where we've been making upcycled dollhouses out of vintage suitcases since 2014. We began making Canberran themed items and it became necessary to separate the brands. So now we have the Canberran focussed Burley and Brave.
As lifelong residents of the Canberra region, we have a deep affection for our city. We love this region of the world and even though we travel (when we can) we always come home to our wonderful city where the living is easy, the spaces beautiful and the people inspiring. We were awarded an ACT National Trust Award for 'Significant Contribution to ACT Heritage' at the end of 2021 for our miniatures with history! We currently have a studio and workshop in Queanbeyan where we make all but our enamel pins (which are produced in a factory). We have three 3D printers, wood working equipment and endless ideas for new products! |
